I spilled Lectric Shave on my wood end table. How do I refinish it?
I have a cherry wood end table. I placed a bottle of Lectric shave on it, and apparently some oozed down the side of the bottle and stripped the color off the wood. The affected area is oval stained like the bottom of the bottle, about 1 by 3 inches. Just looking for general procedures for refinishing. Thanks.
Get a real fine sandpaper. Sand it off then use steel wool. Get same color of stain or varnish and finish.
