Removing Start-Up Programs the Easy Way
Have you noticed that the longer you own your Windows PC, the longer it takes to start up?Well, you must have included in the start-up menu more and more programs that must be loaded right from the start. It’s perfectly acceptable to have a lot of programs, and some (like Anti-Virus or Firewall programs) are indeed justified, but often when you download freeware or install a trial version, other programs will be bundled into this software.When these known and unknown programs try to fill the memory at the same time, the problem occurs.
Here we will discuss the methods of cleaning up the computer registry by removing unwanted programs and freeing up harddrive space in the process.If you bought your computer ‘fully loaded’ from a computer store like Circuit City, Best Buy, Office Depot, or Staples, chances are you would have experienced slow start-up right from the beginning. Stores normally include in the hardware sales software you may not need or want, that includes those for photo-editing, management tools, CD-writing, games and others you may not even understand.
Visiting the control Panel is the fastest method of trimming your start-up program.The Control Panel is located inside your Start button at the lower left corner of the screen. When you click on the Control Panel icon, the Add/Remove Programs submenu will appear.You can be amazed of how long is the list of programs in your computer.It may even include programs you don’t know about.De-clutter your list by removing some program you don’t want, making sure first you really would not want them for future use.
