Cool mist or warm mist humidifiers for my newborn?? ?
I’m 37w6d pregnant and I still have to get a humidifier for my nursery. I live in Wisconsin so the weather is cold and dry right now. I have read to get cool air and warm air so I have no idea what would be the best to purchase considering my climate. So my questions is what do you use and are you in a cold dry climate like myself? Thanks ladies everyone has been such a big help on the pregnancy and newborn boards since I found out I was pregnant. I like to get my advice from real people instead of websites and magazines:-)
I agree with princess…get a cold one. The only real use for a hot one is if the baby gets a cold and all you have to do is run the shower really hot for a while and sit in the bathroom. I love my cold mist here because the heaters tend to run hot and it just makes the room more comfortable. Just make sure to clean it every so often (according to the packaging) to prevent mold growth. Also it’s great to use in the summer to cool the room as well!
