Mighty Tite? Anyone used it?
I was just reading someone else’s question about car seat and found this link about a mighty tite. Anyone bought this and its been worth the money? When did it come out? Is it even safe to use with all seats? Id like to get 2 if they are worth it.

well see our car doesnt have latch system. I have two car seats. One for my 2 yr old and one for my 8 month old. Sometimes we have to take the seats out. If i had the latch i would be using that first compared to a regular seat belt. It doesnt even have anchor slots for when you turn a child around. I hate it actually. I wish we had a newer car.
Im sure that it would be safe to use with all car seats but my daughters car seat came with something like that, but it’s all metal (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41av6CD%2B64L.jpg).
I definitely recommend using your cars latch system – if your car has the latch system! Older vehicles do not have it though so depending on the year of your car, it may or may not have it. I had my daughters car seat base installed by the fire department (with use of the latch system). She will soon be moving to a rear-facing convertible seat and I will again have it installed by the fire department. I do not remove her car seat from my vehicle though. My Fiance has a seat for his car (also installed by FD).
