Leash Walking

Leash Walking
How old should dog be for walking on leash?

My puppy is eight weeks old. I have put a leash on her once, but she went crazy. Is she old enough to start learning to walk on a leash?
and what is the best technique to train her?
also, when i tried just dropping the leash, she sat in one spot for like 5 minutes, not moving and looking miserable, before i gave up for the day.

I begin my puppies at 6 weeks.. It is far easier to begin with the harness..Ask for a ‘step-in’ type ..Put the leash on, and allow the puppy to wear it around the house while supervised (so he won’t get tangled anywhere) And he will soon accept it..He shouldn’t be out in public, or where other dogs are until his vaccinations are complete.
