Evenflo Majestic Discovery High Chair FREUD!!! Recall????
My sister recieved an evenflo high chair for her 5 month old daughter. Last night while the baby was sitting in it, it started to smoke and go REALLY hot. This morning wwe called Evenflo and of course they want to come pick it up free of charge and give her a replacement and of course “some sippy cups for her trouble” ARE THESE PEOPLE KIDDING ME? I want something done. What should I do? Who should I call?
This is the Majestic Discovery Hich chair it has a “discovery” tray with sounds and words. It is battery operated.

They have agreed to replace it at their expense, along with a small gift. What more do you want done? Check the warranty and see what their obligation to your sister is supposed to be.
Before they recall any product, they would have to see if this is not a one-off incident. Check the internet to see if there are other reported cases of Evenflo high chairs burning up.
