lower the crib part the mattress goes on to it’s lowest setting, remove both side rails, the crib should’ve come with two short half side rails (to keep the toddler from falling out of bed)…put those on both sides with the screws and brackets provided…it was easy enough for me…husband and I had it done in 10 mins.
