Absolutely not, in practice BUYER BEWARE: Most of the so-called “comments” on this page of products seem to be written by people who have not purchased the product for use. Are rather simplistic, gussied critical acclaim by the participants in an incentive-based program called Amazon Vine “to help Amazon sell new products faster. I am deeply disappointed that what sounded like a bad leadingly innovative product is poorly made. This gorilla does not have two reclining positions and sits on a steep angle. My seven weeks old, uncontrolled neck can not relax in the comfortable, his head hung forward. The seat belt is connected to the unit to shoulder height, not waist my son is 95 percentile in height, so this is another example of head-scratching design. In addition, the vibration unit makes full metal chair rattle and hum very strong. The final drawback is that the three “environmental sounds” which are posted automatically one by one cycle every two minutes. The only thing that this chair does well and wisely is the collapse of a very portable, perhaps permanent storage in the closet where they never be used again. Not recommended.
