timing belt cover civic?
hi
i have a 93 civic dx hatch
where is the timing belt cover
the timing belt might have snapped and bent valves (my car isn’t starting right now), so i need to make sure it is the timing belt before i get a whole new engine.
how do i physically get to the timing belt, and what should i look for?

I know I had a 94 honda civic and the timing belt cover was on the driver side of the engine. there is a little piece of plastic that covers the timing belt and you can easily take that off and then the timing belt is right there. I would also stop trying to start it unless you know how to time it. I know i screwed mine up and I just brought it right to the mechanic just because my timing light was broken.
