How to transfer baby from bassinet to bed?
He is 2 months old usually falls asleep on my chest because he is a very fussy baby, so wherever he falls asleep we are happy with. I want to start putting him in his crib but every time he goes in it he only sleeps for 20 minutes and wakes up crying. I dont know if i should just let him cry because that’s something i dont want to do, but i’ve heard from some people that its okay..i was just wondering if anyone had any advice/or any expieriences that they could help me out with.
This is what I do and works like a charm for my 2 month old girl Grace. As soon as she’s done feeding (breast) I immediately start walking towards her crib, burping her along the way while she is still droggy and sleepy from feeding, not giving her a chance to wake up. I DO NOT talk to her, have lights on or anything that will stimulate her. Then, I put her in the crib, turn on the water falls mobile and poof, she’s out like a like for 8 hours now during the night. The non-stimulation is KEY for us.
My advice about the crying – let her cry. You know by now her different cries so as long as you feel comfortable that he/she is not hungry/in pain/cold or hot / or wet..then it’s overtired. Trust me.
