I am starting a hair bow company. I have some questions?
So I have decided to start my own bair bow company called The Beautiful Hair Bow Co. Do you think that is a cute name? I will sell the bows in a local beauty salon. All of my bows are made out of fabric or ribbons, there is about ten different styles and they are very cute. I will be selling the bows for five dollars and the baby bows for three. do you think that is a good price? Also do you have any suggestions? Thanks for your help.
Hey great for you. I think the name is great and your prices seem very fair. I would suggest that you visit not only the salon’s like you have already planned, but also target a few dance companies or schools. The kind that have the little girls dress up in cute outfits. Often all the girls dress the same. So you could have a order for 20 bows all the same. Have the dance company sell these for you. Offer to give them a percentage or sell them at a bigger discount for larger orders.
Photo studios would be another great place to sell. They use several props to add to their photo shoots. Perhaps you could design some bows for a local cheer leading squad with their teams colors. And of course prom dances. The girls or I should say the guys sometimes pay up to $50 for a flower arrangement. I bet you could come up with something better with your bows or even a wrist design for half the price. I hope this helps and I wish you luck.
